UK Pop: The Smoke
The Smoke furono un gruppo pop britannico proveniente da York. Il loro più grande successo fu "My Friend Jack", del 1967. Line-Up: Mick Rowley, cantante (29.06.1946, Scarborough, Yorkshire), Mal Luker, chitarra solista (Malcom Luker, 3.03.1946, in New Dehli, India), "Zeke" Lund, basso (John Lund, 13.11.1945, in York, Yorkshire) e Geoff Gill, batteria (15.05.1949, York). Originariamente la band suonò nello Yorkshire come "The Moonshots", cambiarono il loro nome dapprima in "The Shots" poi in "The Smoke" quando partirono per Londra.
