Supergroover: Dr. Lonnie Smith
Dr.Lonnie Smith (New York, 03.07.1942) oggi indossa un turbante e assume l’appellattivo di "Doctor" Lonnie Smith. E' uno dei più grandi, forse il più grande, organista di Hammond B3, è pianista e cantante. Nella sua lunga e fortunata carriera si è guadagnaro il premio come miglior organista nel 1969 (Downbeat) e per tre anni consecutivi (2003- 2005) la Jazz Journalist Association lo ha votato come miglior tastierista.
