Soul: Isaac Hayes
Isaac Lee Hayes (Covington, 20.08.1942 – Memphis, 10.08.2008) è stato un musicista, cantante e attore statunitense.
Il suo nome è legato soprattutto al tema di Shaft, brano che lo ha reso universalmente celebre e per il quale ha vinto l'Oscar nel 1972 per la miglior canzone originale.
È stato uno degli artisti più importanti dell'etichetta soul Stax Records che negli anni '60 e '70 è stata la più importante antagonista della Motown nel campo della cosiddetta Black Music.
