Mod Revival: The Lambrettas
I Lambrettas furono un gruppo legato all' English mod revival, attivo dal 1978 al 1982. Originari di Brighton, hanno avuto come miglior hit il brano Poison Ivy che nella loro interpretazione raggiunse il N° 7 delle classifiche inglesi. Il gruppo era composto da Jez Bird, cantante, Doug Sanders, chitarra e voce, Mark Ellis, basso e Paul Wincer, batteria. Fecero da gruppo di supporto ai Madness nella loro tournee italiana del '80 e suonarono al Palalido di Milano. Incisero due album: Beat Boys in the Jet Age e Ambience.
