I Jason Crest si formarono a Tonbridge, nel Kent dalle ceneri dei 'The Good Thing Brigade'. Firmarono un contratto per la Philips agli inizi del 1967. Il loro fortunato singolo 'Turquoise Tandem Cycle', uscì con l'etichetta: "the first new group of 1968". Rimasero in attività sino al 1971. Nel disco "Collected works of Jason Crest" sono presenti tutte le registrazioni ufficiali della band. Line Up: Terry Clarke, voce; Terry Dobson, chitarra; Derek Smallcombe, chitarra; Ron Fowler, basso, rimpiazzato da John Selley dopo il terzo singolo; Roger Siggery, batteria.
